A new helpline is being started by the Indore Police in connection with Bank Fraud / online transaction fraud, in which new mobile number 7049124444 is being provided to help the public. The public can contact us if any person withdraws money from their account by asking for a bank account, PIN number etc. through phone or any other way. In which we will immediately provide a toll free number of the concerned bank or website, on which the public can get their card blocked by contacting through phone call. Information is being provided on the Indore Police website www.indorepolice.org / Citizen Comp, in which do's, don'ts and toll free numbers are provided, after reading that you can save yourself from being a victim of this type of fraud.

  • Keep the PIN number of your ATM / Credit Card strictly confidential.
  • Never write the PIN number on the card.
  • Keep changing the pin number.
  • Do not keep the PIN number as easy like your car number etc.
  • While withdrawing your money from the ATM do not hand it over to someone else.
  • Anytime if anyone asks for any ATM / Credit Card information on the phone, immediately inform it to the police.
  • Use the ATM where the guard is present to withdraw money.
  • Do not save the account number and PIN number of your ATM Card on your mobile phone.
  • The bank never calls its customer and asks for ATM / credit card information.
  • While shopping online and paying from your ATM / Credit Card , keep in mind that you are shopping only on a trustworthy website.
  • If you have accidentally given your ATM / Credit Card information to someone over the phone and the amount gets deducted from your account, then contact your bank and get your card blocked immediately.
