  Get application form

  Application forms can be purchased from GPO (General Post Office) or from S.P. office in office hours in all working days.

  Submit the filled application form

  Completely filled application form, attached documents and demand draft can be submitted at GPO or at S.P. office. Application is forwarded to Passport Cell Bhopal and verification foils are sent to respective Police Stations.

  Start of Police Verification

  When application is received at police station, a police officer visits applicants address and physically verifies all the details provided in application. Thana In-charge is responsible for finalizing verification. It’s then sent back to S.P. office.

  Criminal Background checks

  At this stage verification foil is sent and received from related departments for checking if applicant is having any police case or criminal background. Final report is then sent to Bhopal

  Forward Police Report to Bhopal

  Passport Cell Bhopal receives police verification report and matches with main application. Then Passport is prepared. After making the passport they are dispatched at applicant’s address by registered post.

  Passport is Sent by Post

  Postman hands over the passport to applicant only. It’s not given to any family member also. In case if applicant is not available on address multiple times, it’s sent back to Passport Cell Bhopal.
